The Symposium will be held at the Novotel Karlsruhe City. The hotel is located in the center of Karlsruhe within walking distance from shopping areas, restaurants, the castle, and the University Campus. For participants of the European Coating Symposium rooms are available at reduced rates.

If you arrive by plane
Frankfurt Airport:Take a train from the railway station “Frankfurt airport” to “Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof”. Stuttgart Airport:
Use the shuttle bus or tram (S3 direction “Backnang” or S2 direction “Schorndorf”) to “Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof” (main station).
Baden Airpark:
From Baden Airpark take the bus 205 direction “Merkurwald” to “Baden-Baden Hauptbahnhof” (main station). From Baden-Baden take the train to “Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof” (main station).
Railway connections can be found at the train schedule of the Deutsche Bahn.
If you arrive by train
From Karlsruhe Main station: take lines S1, S4, S11 or 2 (alight at Kongresszentrum).From the city centre: take lines S1, S4, S11 or 2 (alight at Kongresszentrum) or line 5 (alighting at Konzerthaus).
If you arrive by car
From the A5/A8 motorway (Autobahn):Coming along the A8 from Stuttgart drive north onto the A5, following signs for Frankfurt. Leave the A5 at junction 45 for “Karlsruhe-Mitte”. On the B10 follow signs for Karlsruhe. Come off the B10 at junction 2 and drive towards “Stadtmitte/Zentrum”. Follow signs to “Kongresszentrum” (convention center). Novotel hotel is located in the Kongresszentrum area.
From the A65 motorway (Autobahn):
The A65 merges with the B10. Leave the B10 at junction 2, driving towards the Kongresszentrum (convention cenre). Follow signs for “Kongresszentrum”. Novotel hotel is located in the Kongresszentrum area.
